Features & Applications
A light-yellow, free-flowing powder, this product is an organically modified bentonite based on tetra-alkyl ammonium compounds. It is primarily suitable for solvent systems dominated by aromatic hydrocarbons. It provides efficient gelling action in medium- to low-polarity organic solvents, imparting ideal thixotropic properties to the system.
The product exhibits high viscosity, strong thickening power, excellent anti-settling performance, and maintains stable consistency from sub‑zero to elevated temperatures. It enhances film formation in organic binder systems and requires a polar activator for optimal performance.
It is widely used in: paints, inks, sealants, lubricating greases, putties, body fillers, ready‑mixed paints, and similar applications.
Equivalent International Brands:Bentone-34, Bentone-52
