Features & Applications
BT-876 Organobentonite is a novel type of organic clay, specifically designed for low- to medium-polarity systems. As a self-activating and easily dispersible product, it offers excellent thixotropic and anti-sagging properties, effectively preventing pigment settling. It is suitable for use in solvent-based coatings, marine paints, sealants, adhesives, asphalt paints, chlorinated rubber paints, and more. Compatible resins include alkyd resins, epoxy esters, oil-modified polyurethanes, etc. Recommended solvents are toluene, xylene, 200# solvent naphtha, naphtha, as well as other blends of aliphatic and aromatic solvents.
Packaging & Storage：
Packaged in double-layer bags with an outer kraft paper bag and an inner polyethylene film bag, or in valve paper bags. The weight is typically 25±0.25kg or as per customer requirements. When stored under dry conditions at temperatures between 0°C and 30°C, the shelf life is 24 months.
