Features & Applications
BT-883 is a highly purified, organically modified bentonite derivative with excellent thickening and thixotropic properties.
Compared to traditional products, it offers lighter color, higher transparency, and better colloidal fineness, with self-activating dispersion.
Applications:
Coatings, inks, sealants, adhesives, pigment pastes, lubricants, cosmetics, polymer composites, and oilfield drilling fluids.
Usage:
Requires high-shear dispersion and polar activators (e.g., 95% ethanol/acetone, 33% of BT-883 weight).
Can be added as pre-gel or dry powder (0.2%-2.0% of total system)
